Behavioural Issues That I Can Deal With:
can help with any behavioural issue, from barking and toilet training, to fear aggression and reactivity, there are solutions to every problem, some are simple and some take commitment and patience, all will need input from you with support all the way from me, from the moment I meet you and your dog I am on board to help you to achieve the solutions you seek, helping you through the bad days and celebrating the break throughs
Using Classical conditioning, shaping, playing games and rebalancing behaviour with positive reward based training and techniques I teach you how to rebuild that all important relationship with your dog.
Most dogs go through many changes as they develop and the biggest issue is that they become afraid of new things, people and dogs they do not know, cars that are loud and fast, children that are high pitched and unpredictable with their movements, they often begin to use the only defence they know, which is to bark at these things, in their mind the barking is effective, and so they use it more and more. Some dogs begin to worry when left alone and develop anxiety, crying, chewing, sometimes being destructive, barking in a desperate effort to call you back home.
Maybe you have a dog that you have rescued and you need help settling him into his new home, he is exhibiting behaviours that he had not shown in the shelter, after all it is a very different environment.
Is it that your dog is wonderful at home, but taking him for a walk is a nightmare, a walk should be the best part of the relationship with your dog, but it is the one thing you dread, he pulls or he wont come back if you let him off lead.
Or perhaps your dog gets over excited, jumping up and pestering visitors that come to your home, have you stopped inviting people round because of this.
Whatever the issue, I can help you.
